HOPE House

HOPE also manages Hope House Day Shelter on behalf of Holy Cross Episcopal Church. Hope House is a day shelter that specifically serves those who are experiencing street homelessness in our area. The program provides shower facilities, laundry facilities, telephone service, and mail receipt service. It serves as a refuge and resting place for those who have no place to go during the day.

Additionally, churches of various denominations bring “Brown Bag Dinners” to Hope House every weekday. This meal is the only evening meal distributed daily to those who are not staying in shelters.

But, the ultimate goal of this program, and all of the work that HOPE is engaged in, is to lead clients to the appropriate services that will help them obtain and remain in permanent housing.

Hope House depends on donations from the community to support the needs of its clients. If you are interested in helping, please click on the Needs List.
